up to a 48, to echo synth echoing me, prada is a good option, the more formal stuff is cut fairly athletically. most designer suits wouldn't work; the shoulder seam would be on his jugular.

why you no like ronnie coleman suit?

btw, Johnny's watch shop across the hall from Peter is worth a visit if you're into timepieces. his collection is beyond impressive, he's knowledgeable and quite friendly and willing to "talk shop". I learned a lot from him... one of my favorites in HK.

I suppose I designed it? I just asked for a s/s made with my other shirts measurements in a nice linen, fiddled with the collar and placket and some other small details, I think it's pretty basic. I've always wanted to have a watch but I think it's a hobby that I can't afford at this point. It's one of those things that if I have one I want to have a nice one, and thanks to this fucking forum that means 20k or nothing.

kunk, my suit size isn't that big, i think. a 42 or a 44, probably. never had a real true measurement of things.

regarding pants and the like, I think I just need to get comfortable with the fact that I need to wear my shit looser, if not for comfort, but to offset the large upper body.

i've never thought about rick, nor do i think i can afford it, or have anywhere local i can try stuff on./

ah, thought you were bigger. prada is a great choice for suits, wide cut shoulders.

flat front pants are tough, i always get pocket flare like you do in your pic. pants just never sit right on me, wish i had better advice

Thanks, the shirt is 100% linen from Peter Lee. I haven't really looked around for them because looking for OTR shirts in general is just a waste of time for me. They are one of the few things probably cheaper to buy and tailor than to have made m2m though if you can find them.

Looks like you're enjoying the shirt, Eason. PL sent me a bunch of swatches recently, and I'm thinking of having a few shirts made, including a linen or two. Great to hear.

Geller does a lot of stuff with rayon, that's what it looks like imo

I have the shorter version of that Geller jacket. It's a rayon/cotton blend. Going off memory I think it's 65/35.

Lunch today was simple but delicious...ale battered soft shell crab over bibb lettuce with a nice remoulade on a fresh toasted potato roll. the crab was delicately battered and only added to the creamy texture of it all... the fresh lettuce enveloping it added a necessary crunch... the remoulade, applied sparingly brought with it a perfect tartness... binding everything together. in between bites I enjoyed fresh made potato chips seasoned with sea salt and smoked paprika... a fitting companion that added a bit more substance to the whole ordeal. a small side of coleslaw... the crunchy savoy and red cabbages... julienned apples and carrots.. golden raisins and poppyseeds came together to add a brightness to the palette that mirrored the changing of the weather today...
