Tailor Stitch denim shirt came in today. What better time than to show y'all the fit.
Sleeves are too long, otherwise I think it's decent. Tucked in because I'm considering ordering a button down from them..
The sleeves aren't too long, that's just stacking on your arms!
Style forum, how does my parka fit? This is not a fit, I did not leave the house wearing shorts and a parka, bought it for the winter. It's lands end canvas, was like $40 so I thought I might as well try it out. Considering going down a size.
considering they're supposed to fit oversized it seems to fit pretty well

Yeah I think when I had these hemmed, I did not have a belt, so they're a bit longer than they should be, I cinch up the belt so this happens..
I'm probably repeating myself here but try loosening that belt and wearing your pants lower on your hips rather than up at your natural waist - it should help with the overall silhouette.
I rolled them up half an inch, I guess my tailor was right when he said they were already short enough. I just need to work on my arms to fill them up then.
Eason, it's okay if your clothes aren't skin-tight everywhere, you know
all you guys saying that knucks cant look good in clothing is nearsighted.
will he fit into many niche designers, or most designers period? No, probably not. But I think many of the fits he's posted so far look fine, and flatter his body. I would only recommend wearing his pants slightly lower on the hips. Just get those pants hemmed and I think you got a solid fit there.
But aren't you 2% bf?
Thanks, the shirt is 100% linen from Peter Lee. I haven't really looked around for them because looking for OTR shirts in general is just a waste of time for me.
Peter made that shirt? Cool... he makes decent shirts for the price, but I never had him make a casual s/s for me... I too love linen so I might consider that. Was it a pre-existing shirt he'd done or something you came up with? He has my measurements so I suppose I could just order one.
btw, Johnny's watch shop across the hall from Peter is worth a visit if you're into timepieces. his collection is beyond impressive, he's knowledgeable and quite friendly and willing to "talk shop". I learned a lot from him... one of my favorites in HK.
it completely changes colors. sometimes it's green, red, purple, black, depending on the light. i think it's just cotton but its kind of shiny. some kind of treatment maybe.

first half +1... second half -10. knucks isn't "fat" and/or shapeless in a way that he can't look good... it's just that he's, as some people round these parts say, built like a brick shithouse. he definitely needs more skillfully chosen cuts that will de-emphasize his barrel torso and thick legs and butt. pleated trousers would help.. a bit more room in the shoulders and more fitted sleeves in the shirts perhaps. knucks you need to do some window shopping and lots of trying stuff on to find clothing that will produce a more flattering silhouette and get an idea of what works for you and start with and build on that. these looks do not flatter...
