Yep, buttero. I don't think I'd wear these Buttero untucked, I'll remember to change up boots next time with this kind of outfit.

Shoulda gotten those chainbounds. Would be perf.

People need to stop tucking in high skinny shaft boots w/ large perhaps even bulbous toes, or just stop tucking
post #67744 of 117666
depends how you're doing it. Brad-T and Snowman do it well because it's consistent with everything else they're wearing.

it fits with what they are doing but rarely looks appealing.

a few members pull off well but is not reason for the masses to try and recreate. just looks bad and outfits would look better without tuck.

i did it once with some HTC buckle boots, damn that was embarrassing thinking back

Ah okay, so it's more the problem that it's just inconsistent with the blazer. I thought it was a call out that I shouldn't ever tuck. In that case, I can definitely see that and I'll be sure to remember it.

My casual fridays.

For a second, I thought those were drop-crotch pants because of the way the chair in the background kind of blends into the pantlegs.

The problem with tucking is that the vast majority of people look like total asshats doing so.

I have the same boots (along with about half of the forum, apparently), and I never tuck them. If my jeans have too narrow a hem to fit over the shaft of the boot, I opt for different footwear.

a boot tuck can work with a blazer imo. whats the blazer btw?
nothing looks wrong with the silhouette of the pants and the boots btw. i think you need some trousers and ditch the denim biggrin.gif

ive learned that the pants and boots both need to work together in a boot tuck.
lol, my dad asked me if he could wear my boots and i told him that he couldnt handle the ann d's. his response was, "ill just tuck in my pants" laugh.gif

i think it's inconsistent with the pants too. sorry. it's a matter of proportions. hopefully if you look at some pics of those guys you'll see what I mean.

edit: yeah, what snow and notwithit said too.

It's from ProperSuit, one of their Loro Piana fabrics.

No boot tuck here. Shirt is actually ribbed with visible seams across the front but you can't make out anything in the photo. Gotta start taking these outside

thanks man. Jamaican hemp is really cool/comfy. they're bigger in the thighs than anything I own, debating trying to slim them slightly.
