Well the collar doesn't seem to adhere to his neck but it could be him moving around for the pic, I know I have some perfectly well-fitting collars that do that when I twist around and take self-pics. Now you also have to understand that MMM uses really tall models, usually 6'4" or so, jackets fit them well but can look sloppy on shorter guys. I have one MMM tuxedo jacket that fits well but it is a slim 44 and I'm usually 46.

Maybe - looks pretty straight and stable there. If it hugs the neck, then this is no issue (he would know better since he's the one wearing it)

Ultimate gringo steeze, complete with souvenir hat for my girlfriend:

This bus was not nearly as cool as the ones that had wizards, knights, and vikings fighting dragons. Plus, his team lost.

If you go somewhere and buy enough, SAs actually leave you alone.

Don't know her, but once a guy SA in that MMM store told me other stores I could check since they didn't have what I wanted there. It was kinda nice that he didn't seem to care whether I bought from them or not. Just wanted to help out.

thanks for all the feedback on the suit guys- i've actually dropped the suit off for hemming/sleeve shortening now so will take some better pictures (with boots) when i get it back.
a few observations though: i think the collar fits reasonably flush (for OTR), it really is just the way i've twisted up to take the picture. also, the shoulders are structured, but i don't think they're too big ( i have pretty broad shoulders, and certainly couldn't have sized down.) i do think the jacket may be too long in the body, as someone pointed out. i'll see how it looks when the other alterations are done and make a decision then.

funnily enough i do have some (probably naive) faith in the SAs at margiela, as at yohji boutiques or dover street market they don't seem desperate to sell you stuff at all, just give the impression that they want to hang out and enjoy your company foo.gif
