while it may be his best recent work, the best undisputed Mr. Moo fit of all -- indeed the best fit on SF i've seen to date, is without doubt this (and sarcasm meter of zero please)

First waywt, went to a bar shortly after:

Geller Zip Blazer
Silent Tank
W+H Chinos
Buttero Combats
Persol Aviators

remove boot tuck and you're good.

Lol at acecow:
"If I were Moo, I'd say your posts are worthy of the Big Book of Butthurting. But I'm not, so I won't"

This typifies his whole persona.
"I'm not a dick, so when i'm insulting you, i'm actually not. [implied] Because of this, i'm also allowed to get offended when you respond to my insults.

That is a long-sleeve shirt, and you're wrong about shoes.

Schneider jacket / MC everything else
I think it would be better with grey wool pants, but this was kind of a try-on/test run.

Not a fan of the closed collar, especially considering that it is quite a large one. A smaller, softer collar would look better.

I wouldn't say clean shoes always look better, worn in boots always look much better than brand new ones, I do agree with you about shirts though, so thanks!

Moo - nice jacket but I can't get on board with the SS jacket on top of a MC blazer and otherwise mediocre business casual outfit. It doesn't do justice to the coat. And I'm usually the first to ridicule critiques about "brand synergy", but this is just pushing it too far IMO.

Thanks for the comments. I agree about the shirt collar.

Gdl I'm not wearing a blazer. Just a shirt and the jacket on top. I think wool pants in a mid grey would work well. The loafers I noticed were common in SS look books so I thought they would work here as well.

oh now I see - that's the liner layer that's buttoned. Is it removable in this particular jacket ?

I also read afterwards that this was not a real outfit but you just trying it on, so forget what I said.

No worries. Liner not removable in this instance.

SS is really good stuff. satisfied.gif
