Cool print on the shirt, but it hardly fits or flatters you. The wide sleeve openings make your arms look thinner and weaker. The square cut is too "old-man". but you seem to a younger guy, no? The pants fit nice. If it were MC, I'd say don't wear black, because it's too formal/boring/waiter-like etc. However, it seems to be pretty common here and, I think, is not as bad as MC makes it out to be. I'd like to see a better picture of the shoes, but I don't like the color and shape right now. Your bottom half screams "autumn", while the top is definitely "summer".

acecow, if those sleeve openings were any narrower it would just look freaky.

I really can't get into it though, maybe it's because it's a short sleeve or something. The pattern is cool and all I guess but I don't really like how you're wearing it. Sorry snake

I'll have to think about how I'd like to see it styled, I'm still not sure.

Wow, real critique from acecow? What is this :P. Anyway, I'm actually not a huge fan of this fit either, snake. The shirt would look nice in another context I think, but the pants actually do feel too formal here. I think a lighter color would do wonders and mesh better with the shirt (and this is coming from someone who wears all black all the time).

I think it looks good.  You guys over-think shit sometimes.  Maybe roll the sleeves up once but the colors are fine.

Without focusing on this fit, in general, a long sleeve shirt rolled up will 99% of the time look better than a short sleeve shirt.
Also, 100% of the time clean shoes will look better than dirty shoes (in an urban environment).

The shirt is actually semi sheer cotton/silk so it wouldn't make sense for it to be slimmer. But I agree lighter color pants would be better. I just only have black trousers atm shog[1].gif

So you think the material of the shirt should affect the fit so much as to make you appear in worse shape than you actually are? Maybe then you shouldn't wear this material at all.

Any suggestions for the pants?

if you absolutely had to change the pants id go with something with more of a rise. silent makes some good cotton poplin pants with a slight drop crotch but it doesnt look like rick drop crotches from the back smile.gif

He looks like a slender guy wearing a roomy shirt. Not everything has to be form-fitting. There is no single universal "perfect fit."

Schneider jacket / MC everything else

I think it would be better with grey wool pants, but this was kind of a try-on/test run.
