Hey buddy, I think you wore a leather jacket to go to the beach. It isn't working.

Ack. I was hoping to get more mileage out of this jacket than just jeans and thought that the pants/shorts might be, hrrm, capable enough to mix it up, but I guess not. Welp, won't wear this again.

You could work something out with a different jacket (less hardware, maybe a different shade) and diff shoes. I have a white Rick Owens summer jacket that could sorta work with sweatpants, a tank top and white sneakers.

I agree that the leather looks out of place with everything else, but I think all-black Jack Purcells would at least help.
 

 

I have other jackets that work with the pants and normally I like the filthy vans but I was kind of unsure with this whole thing - bit of an experiment. They're not sweat pants, though, they're more of a - jeez, I don't even know what kind of weave it is, very close it looks like a bunch of rings woven together, like a chainmail chino or something.

Yeah I thought so as well, but from what I remember, they looked narrower. Will take another look.
