Well played, sir! You look like a different person.

Until you supply the deets, most won't know how to feel about the T-shirt, and you will be told to buy some side zip boots.

Lighting definitely adds to the photo and the blazer looks nice smile.gif. You look much better without the glasses as well. Good stuff.

Noob, ivwri—thanks a bunch. As for deets, I'll start putting those in from now on if that helps(?).

no. It is not.

Who owns design? Should they own it?

Who invented wingtips? do you think they should remain the sole producer of such things?

No.

Designs become classic. That is a good and natural process.

This doesn't mean that designers don't have the opportunity to profit from their creativity; just that they have to keep being better at what they do.

From where else is the incentive to design?

One is a derivative design that's meant to play on the original Nike design and distort it completely into a new shoe that makes reference to the original without ripping it off. Same thing with the Raf sneakers that are derivatives of Nike Vandals, just made sleeker, higher quality and without the swoosh.
Those, however, are simply a knock-off of the RO dunks. I'm sure they took care of having a few differentiating details but overall doesn't seem like an hommage or derivative, simply a copy.
I can't argue the legal case here but I do think there's an ethical difference between the two.

They don't have to take care of differentiating details, it's not illegal at all unless they copy the trademark (swoosh is cutting it close, but that's nike not rick).

And really? ethical dilemma? What about the ethical dilemma of RO selling $1000 sneakers that fall to bits? Or recycling the same design over and over and selling based on exclusivity?

I realise - you are buying design. But the main part of it is exclusivity. Think about it. The sneakers are a hunk of junk quality wise. Probably cost $20 to produce (could be wrong, whatever). Therefore, Rick could choose whatever price point he wanted.

Obviously if he went with $200, the sneakers would become very popular since they are so well designed. But no, the price is set at 1K. That to me means that exclusivity is part (most) of the selling point.

You are no longer buying purely design, and really there is no moral high ground to stand on IMO.

I think it's the other way around.

Fake dunks are a good thing IMO

(and I have no intention of buying).

Hate to break it you, but you're still really skinny. (Not that there's anything wrong with that)

The clashing patterns of the two tops doesn't work for me. I would also go for more contrast between the shoes and the pants.

This is a big improvement over your earlier fit, except for the shoes. AEs are fine in the right context, but here you need some side zips or some baller sneaks.
