That did not sound gentle! Haha anyways yea it's exam season around here and my eating habits are becoming all kinds of sloppy which might explain the supposed tightness, but maybe it's just the way I'm standing? Seeing myself in front of the mirror wearing it, it even seems kind of big to me in the shoulder area.

Edit: Okay okay, fine I get it. Like I said it's exam season I'm sure I've gained some weight recently. Besides that how's the rest of the outfit?

No offense, but the weight you would need to lose to have that jacket fit is a lot more than what you can blame on "exam season" unless the picture is seriously distorting the fit. (which may be the case.)

I'm very critical on myself when I'm judging the fits of my clothing, so I do think the picture may have something to do with it. I do admit it is tight at the stomach area but the rest of the jacket fits well, there is no point in sizing up. I was judging the tightness myself just right now and buttoning the lower part of the jacket does feel tight (looks tight as well) but the chest area looks fine. I'm not a 'skinny' guy so it's hard for clothes to fit perfectly. I'll just avoid buttoning up. Thank you all for the criticism. I just wanted to know anyone's opinion on the outfit as a whole, anything you'd add/subtract/change? Any advice moving forward?

Don't wear tapered jeans tucked into shoes when you have proportionally larger thighs, it gives you a pear shape. A straight leg with a bit of stacking or chunky boots will work better with your body type

Even when I was pretty skinny, my body type has always precluded tapered jeans tucked into shoes

While the shoulders might fit the mid section is an abomination, any jacket that pulls like that means it is to small. First maybe ditch the cardigan underneath since that isn't really adding anything and is making the jacket tighter. Button more than one button on the jacket if you insist on keeping it. No sneaker tuck, maybe even a more straight leg pair of pants rather than ones that taper heavily. And you can blame it on exams or whatever but ti still doesn't take away from the fact that you need to get in better shape for clothes to fit nicely. This advice has been given over and over, take 3 months and get in shape before you commit to buying anything trying to go toward a certain style.
