99% out my outfits are based around "going to the corner store elements," heh.

And NBs are comfy, wear 'em around town doing errands and stuff

I prefer some of my usual outerwear, but I like this as a change.

I like the aesthetic.

Not a necessity, but I think the coat would work better with Yohji trousers (or other more voluminous trousers that are cut well)

Fabric is a nice gaberdine. I appreciate that the aesthetic isn't too everyone's taste but I don't think wearing a trench 3 sizes too big would give the same effect - yes they're cut over-sized but in a very specific way.

You just happened to purchase mega-hyped sneakers when their mega-hype was peaking in Japanese magazines cause they're comfy (like Uggs and Crocs, two decidedly unhyped products within the more fashion conscious crowd), sure. My slippers are comfy, I don't post them on a fashion forum.

I know where this is, it's near my fave Jewish deli

Craving for latkes, lox, bagel & cream cheese now

Think your tired now just wait, 6 months to a year from now, people are going to be riding the NB wave in every mall in america like Authentics or Top Siders...

#menswear dictates what mainstream america will be wearing two years from now.

That being said I have a pair 574s mostly orange and I get mad compliments from girls (more than some baller ass kicks that I have like CP achilles and def waaayyy more than my GATs) Its like comparing an understated Jaguar XFR to a garish bright orange Camaro SS.

Well I don't have a problem with discovering/buying something because it is popular in magazines, it just doesn't absolve anyone of wearing ugly shit. As for the it's comfy excuse well it's a fashion forum not the snuggie club. Anyway I don't want to start a huge debate on this or nicelynice, who is never anything but considerate and generally well-dressed.

NB hype came from Japan and streetstyle not menswear, who are nothing if not followers anyway...
