The pocket square is a baby pink and the shirt has red/blue in it that isn't showing up in the ultra amazing iPhone camera.
Yes, the jeans are less than optimal. shog[1].gif

The leg opening appears to be too large for that last of shoe. Either a clunkier last (i.e. Trickers, Cuci, some Alden, etc..., or perhaps a chukka) or a smaller leg opening would be ideal. At least, IMO...

Moo well done on weight loss. Not so easy. Well done.

It's a good opinion. I would say the leg opening is, sadly, just too damn big period.

Moo unless the jeans are really too big in the top block I would suggest getting them tapered from the knee down so that the bottom opening is at 15.5" instead of spending that money on crap jeans.  Make sure that the tailor uses the inner seam to taper them so that you can keep the selvedge.

I love KMW I've worked with them before (in boulder) doing some of the web design.  They're truly GREAT people that offer incredible products which I believe are FAR superior in terms of fabric and construction to most other gringo denim brands like rogue territory, baldwin, tellason etc.

BUT! I think the fit needs reworking. Rocker fit is close to a nice slim taper but could be just a smidge more tapered for my tastes

and the selvedge on the coin pockets is gimmicky and lame.

last sample sale they had I copped their loopwheeled sweatshirt 4 tees and a HEAVYduty canvas MIJ flightbag all for $60

And keep at it with the weight loss! I was at 240 8 years ago now I'm at 185!cheers.gif

Buttero

Those shoes seem pretty perfect for white jeans. My personal bias is that white jeans tend to look best with shoes that are grey, sand, and/or have interesting texture (like suede).

I think I'm going to have them tapered 1.5" from mid thigh down. Thoughts?

no they look awful all around.. not worth trying to salvage. im not really a fan of major tailoring operations on denim. maybe try some slim straights from uniqlo?

I have the Rockers... I have a feeling that if I hemmed them, they would be perfect for right now. As they are, they are either roll-up twice + boots or stacks + boots.

I have been trying on some white jeans and for me the best results involve making them look a bit sleazy, with long stacking inseam and sagged. I do not want to look like a fussy white jeans country club guy -- I would prefer to look like the guy who gets thrown out of the country club.

Caveat
"nice. Are they comfy? Buttero work boots I've found to be pretty unbearable."

Yes they are comfy, the suede is very soft, yet sturdy and footbed/sole construction is identical to common projects

Do you have any recommendations? something similar to petit standards but maybe with some stretch, and less sweat-inducing? I have enough 511's, and don't want to shell out for dior. Need lots of white pants for summer, i think. Last year was brutal.

Spellbounds from okiya in antwerp the denim breathes well is very slubby and the're SE and MIJ 169 Euro.

I might get mine tapered but I'm on the fence about it

another alternative is industryofallnations (but they're overpriced for the quality of construction in my opinion)
