Yeah just shoes would have been better. The pants and shirt call for something sleeker than loafers.

I actually like casey's fit. Vastly improved.

I think hemming the pants to no break (but not cropped) would look great with some black derbys. maybe even white sneakers

I was not going to say anything, but--

This is why Snowman is such a loved member of SW&D.  Not only is he one of the fashionista icons of WAYWT with his bizarro fits, but he is never too high and mighty to give a guiding tip to those who are still learning...

Although WAYWT honours the earth-shattering, mind-bending, revolutionary fits of gurus like Ivwri, Platypus, Asobu, etc....we get no guidance from them.  They are like I-bankers...take, take, take, and never giving back.  The worst are the types that post fits, and then post "thank yous" as though this is some job interview....actually no, the worst are the ones that demand critiques from people they have otherwise put on block--witness the fracas that occurred last Sunday with CDHagg...

Anyways, thank you Snowman, for being Snowman!

Speaking of CDHagg, I wasn't actually going to say anything since if there is no pic it never happened...but CDHagg's fit for his piano recital was my inspiration yesterday...I copied his style...dark grey (not navy) pinstripe suit but slim tailored...subtle vertically-striped shirt...burgundy oxfords...overboard with the silk handkerchief...and I got comments from colleagues "Where is the tie?"...and I said with pride and authority "This look has no tie!"
