Women's eh? Works for me. Yeah these are 100% wool and are very comfy. Plus the hem is very small so I can pull them up and make them shorts in the summer biggrin.gif

generally i've noticed many of the cuts crossing sub-label lines so it's just a matter of which fits you, and these fit you very nicely teacha.gifunlike your spray-on denim

Not bad for a boring fit.  Deets on the boots, please.

I'd also like to know what label the sweater is.  SNS?

And the shirt, too.  Did you have it altered at all, or does it fit like that straight out of the box?  I'm going to guess Thom Browne...

Sweater is SNS Herning Amalgam cardigan (there's a pullover version of the Amalgam as well). Shirt is Modern Tailor. MTM and box fresh with no additional alterations. I think I've just about nailed down the fit I want, although I may make a couple more tweaks to the measurements next time I order from them.

Do you buy any of these things or just ask everybody in WAYWT for "deets" every day for fun?

Chill out.

Since he likes the clothes it can obviously be good to know the labels.

He's probably trying to figure out which styles and brands he should check out.

They don't have to answer (although I can't see why they wouldn't).

Hows the material of the modern tailor shirt? was it a cotton ploy blend or cotton 2 ply? I would say you pretty much nail the fit for the shirt, nice fit

This one is 2-ply cotton. I've had mixed experiences with Modern Tailor fabrics. This one's pretty nice, I'd say - it's sourced from Japan, although I don't know whether that actually makes any difference - and it's relatively soft. I also have a 100% cotton seersucker shirt that I really like. I have a single-ply 100% cotton shirt that's terrible, though; the fabric is all stiff and papery and feels terrible. The safest thing for you to do is order a book of whatever fabric swatches appeal to you, then buy whatever seems nice once you've actually handled them.

edit:

@ moo, Not feelin' the pattern-matching on that one. Jacket/shirt/tie combo doesn't really mesh (particularly the shirt, I think). I also wouldn't mind a plain pocket square here, just cotton or linen.

Jacket, pants, and shoes all look nice, though.

The pants are sort of an olive-brown melange, more towards olive, which may or may not be showing up well in the photo.

I don't spend a lot of money on clothing (I can't, really), but when I do I like to make sure that I am getting the most bang for my buck.  I don't ask just for fun, I ask for long-term purchase-planning purposes.
