Cheers. Coat is great for cold dry days (padded heavy cotton), must get some more bdp, really nicely made.
Had heavy snow overnight, I was looking forward to giving my new Cabourn DB its first airing, but as I seem to slip over on the first snowflake I think I'm going to have to go with something else
posting this just for kicks even tho it's more mc-oriented. navy worsted suit, navy knit tie, white broadcloth shirt, suede loaferz. tho, i think it would look better with black lace ups.. must.. kop.. soon. back to sw jawnz mañana.
I understand why you "went over" to SW&D but you're still a lot better at MC imho. Which doesn't mean that you're bad at all at SW&D because you're really, really good at MC.
I kind of agree re: the black shoes - that would have been very original Bond then. But then I also would have switched the navy knit for a black knit.
With these shoes it would have been more consistent with a pale blue shirt maybe?

My fave part of Parker's MC fits is how un-MC they actually feel, since they mesh so well with the sw&d minimalist aesthetic. A more jarring contrast would be with the MC guys, where the prevailing look is more like "confusion."
