This snowy and blustery weather calls for turtle necks, especially when you have a cold to go with it all. Oh and to salean, I hear you on the no stacks, I do single cuffs too and did so for this fit. Sometimes you feel like a cuff and sometimes...you know...

Shirt, tie and pants look alright but the blazer makes it look like you've mixed and mashed 2 suits.

MMM bag looks great...if not a little out of place.

Actually all works much better with the coat on...

Thanks for the feedback. The pants have a microstripe (an MC no no... ) and the jacket has a burgundy overcheck... but I can see how from far away neither can be seen.

Fit looks great, Tonio. Sweater is a beaut.

And I'm not a Comey fan (wearing myself) but those boots look awesome.

Agreed on all this working better with the coat on. I don't mind the different colored blazer. If it was a little different shade, it'd be better, but even as is I think I'd prefer this to matching pants/blazer.

Seems to be a lot of peacoats lately. This is my grandfather's that he wore in WWII. True vintage.

It's pretty dope that that is a legit vintage peacoat...but the standard wool peacoat is so played out these days.

JKissi and adamha21 - like the fits. Good stuff. adamha12 - The Inverallan red knit cap by chance? Seems chunky and warm. Was contemplating the oatmeal or grey versions myself. Hmmm...

I don't think so. You may be tired of them and that's all good, but they're a staple to me. There may be a million variations out there, sure, but most of them are ****. Find one that is substantial and fits more slim than vintage, and it's a win in my book. It's rare that I see many people around my area sporting them, maybe that's why it doesn't seem played out to me.

Like this very much.

I've never had the urge for a peacoat. This makes me think differently.

Your posts in WAYWT, B&S, and "Epicurean knits" makes me think you may have the nicest knit collection on here.
