I agree with shoreman about losing the tie and getting a less formal (non-poplin) beefier shirt with this fit. I like the cardigan, but not with those pants and shade of brown on the shoes. A bordeaux or darker brown would have worked better and I think a slightly slimmer and a non-brown shade of pants would have worked better here.

Although our styles are miles apart, I generally appreciate your look, but not feeling the proportions here either. Pants don't agree with the top and top half seems too overly bulky compared to the bottom.

I don't think they'd look any better with boots personally. I would hem regardless. Too much cuff there for my blood.

That's a damn good guess haha, I post much of the same it seems. Jeans are EP Smith's from Epaulet and coat is Ervell.

Absolutely. I believe mellow has the same one and would agree. This thing is hella warm, chunky yet not too oversized, and leather buttons are sweet. After an almost two year search I snagged it instantly on B&S months ago when I saw it and haven't regretted it since. They have a similar one this season, but not sure if it's in the same league as I haven't handled them.

echo @ at all good comments on tonio's fit. It looks great. Especially knit against the nice jacket.

with NDG closing shop the older cardis will be gold. there are some available currently but only in olive (which I like personally, but no gray) and large sizes.

Anyone know the true differences between what tonio is wearing and what is seen here? I would not link that if I wore a size L.

but again...

much like.

i bought a pair of comey's but returned them because I thought they felt too light and slight. So narrow. These were the shoes. The boots look nice though. Just big enough. Hopefully slightly more substantial than the shoe. My only possible critique would be that it would all look better with a slimmer jean. But it kind of just all flows...so I didn't even say that.

I believe that olive is brown in actuality so it would be similar colorway as mine. I am not sure about the knit material difference, but the current season I believe has black buttons as opposed to brown, and the new season is actually made in china vs made in Japan as the original if that means anything. I believe someone spoke to the specific differences either in the Tres thread or NDG or some other thread recently can't remember which it was.

I don't mind the Comey's. The spencer boots I'm wearing are definitely more substantial than the oxfords though, really like the boots. The stiffness of the jeans make it look more roomy then they really are and the narrower profile of the Comey's probably help emphasize that. They fit snug i the top block and thighs though, just not as slim as my typical chinos I wear. Sometimes a man needs a bit of loose in the wardrobe.
