Cheers - it's wool fairisle knit.
It's the only Lou Dalton bit I've bought - I liked a fair few of her AW10 bits but didn't have the cash at the time. I picked this up in DanielJenkins sale last week - quality is great, I'd certainly pick up more of her knits and would look at other stuff.

MoK, you seem to wear a number of them, so I'll ask here: what's a good rollneck/turtleneck that isn't made for tiny people? I like the Nigel Cabourn 4-way rollneck but the 54 has a pit to pit of 22"... wtf?

err is this directed towards him or me? im confused lol

Man you will so regret if you start going that route. For the life of me, I dont get the fixation. There are plenty of ways you can look good with thinning or receding hair and by the time you are in your 30s it will be more commonplace and you wont barely notice it anymore.
Also unless you have megabucks to keep going back for follow up work it will end up looking downright shitty.
My dentist has such crappy hair plugs that I cant hardly look at anything else while he is working on my teeth.

Synthese, I'm looking at you.

cool your jets, eventually I'll make it down here. Either that or I'll end up with a white-boy top knot.

Moo - I'm around a 42" - 42.5" depending on how good I've been. The green shetland sweater I wore yesterday is Cabourn (last season) in a 52 and has a pit to pit of about 21.5" without stretching, you might find the 54 is slightly larger than stated.

Roll neck wise I find chunkier knits tend to be slightly over-sized - the grey Donegal from Universal Works is a large and is roomy on me, If you can find one in XL it'll easilly fit a 46" chest. The Navy Cro'Jack one is similarly roomy. Barbour are also worth looking at - I need to size down to medium in most of their knits.

Cheers - I think it should be fairly versatile.
