Well, I can't fault your brands...
and in a surprising way the look does work, and try as hard as I can, I can't not like it....

How tall are you exactly? You are the last person I'd consider SoCal....but this forum is proving to be full of surprises....

And Noobizor...I meant to comment earlier...I did not know you were one of the fashionista literati here?!! How splendid! It is all well and truly above my head, but I'm still fascinated....

We sure have the bottom 1% out in full force in these parts....

I like the colors together, but the shawl is a little bulky under it.

christos' look replicates exactly what i was trying to get across the other day. a simple and clean look that isnt boring because it has a hint of swag/youthfulness.

Not the place for this conversatino but this is just not true. Is Baudrillard more relevant than plato? (he's only really a gloss on plato anyway).
Much of say Derrida's work is a conversation with those who've gone before but it's very much a two-way conversation. Any genuinely important thinker among those we are loosely labelling post modernist is keen to avoid the kind of rupture your statement would seem to imply.

I like this, but I wish you'd take your photos on a flat surface instead of that ramp. You always look like you're standing in a strong wind.

errr, this back and forth IS the reason why it's the only relevant shit right now (and has been for a while). Lego block philosophy where people just think they'll end up with some magic tower is dead dead dead.
Fair enough, my point was that the close readings by derrida etc only help to demonstrate that plato and pretty much any first rate philosopher is not and never was a lego tower, it was a certain (usually rather superficial) mode of interpretation that made them seem to be. i agree with all you're saying but, for example, i went back and read kant recently and amazed by how much self-questioning and ambiguity his work contains.
