I started hanging out here more because SUFU seemed to be such a horrible judgemental clusterfuck most of the time.
I must say, this is more entertaining as that at least most of the people on here speak passable english... but "wow" doesn't quite cover it.

Is it wrong to like either the "workwear" aesthetic or the straight from the runway "gothninja" look? No.
Does one appeal to me more? Yes.

But the reality is that both are paint by numbers simple.
Nothing I see posted in here is truly "innovative". Nothing is "new".
It's all old hat in as much that it's either a pre constructed outfit from a single designer (or it's interchangeable peers)... or it follows such a strict guideline that any fool could do it by simply purchasing items that fit the mould.

Who cares. Socal looks like a goon in a skirt. Kix looks overly constructed. Blah blah. We all look foolish to someone else.

I like my flannels and my raw denim. I like my boots.
It's "played out" on this forum, but where I live I'm one of a tiny handful of people who might dress that way. Where is the real cutting edge? Not here.

Nothing is new under the sun.

The thing that kills it (in a bad way) is when the front shirt-tails are separated and obvious. if you have a shirt with short tails, it will look better- but it mostly looks better because it looks like you've tucked the shirt.

Wow, I was going to hate on the same thing, but you did it much, much better than I would have.

never heard anybody refer to their max squat in terms of plates, and since dude's in korea, they probably use different sized plates in kg.

I'm down for his lanvins and I wear BoO. I'm not a fan of moncler (only some gamme bleu) so I'll leave that. Have you seen the Margiela knit tho? Thing is craaaaack.

I don't think there is one thing everyone at SF all agrees on. We have people who hate denim, peacoats, boat shoes, cardigans, women, etc etc.
