Cheers fellas.
Mordecai, you're bang on. We are a few months out from getting rid of our dogs (who jumped and jumped and ruined the finish). The walls will get redone this summer...I couldn't give a shit about the light fixture.
I know this is far from your first time posting that bomber, halisray, but it looks really good on you. Not sure how well black jawnz would work out given your aesthetic.
Thanks!

I have some black boots, (old chelsea boots), but I left them at home and I'm at my flat downtown,
Don't do dat. I'd recommend slightly different whites and different finishes for trim and wall. We used Moonlight flat on the walls and Simply white Satin on the trim but a lot of people like to go glossier on both.
Flat paint looks dirty pretty quickly and is hard to clean. I'd recommend satin on the walls, and something slightly glossier on the trim. I've been using high gloss oil on the trim for maximum shine and durability, but I have an old Victorian, so it goes well with that. I've heard that Sherwin Williams has a new water based 'oil' paint, whatever that is. I've tried a lot of paints, and find Porter to be the best.

This is what I recommended to him. I usually dislike high gloss paint on interiors. Water based oil....?
no thanks, it's just too stiff. 4 months of daily wear for 24 oz and they were still stiff, and they started getting whiskers around 6 months. IH all day
