Really like the sweater and the boots. Not crazy about the jacket buttoned up (maybe because of the pattern, which I think is plaid, but comes across as vertical stripes in that photo?), but it looks fine unbuttoned.

I also really like the jacket. I'd be interested to see a better shot of the pattern. Right now I get a sort of EG vibe. Very nice open and closed.

Once more, I don't care how people spend their money; I don't lack familiarity with (as jet says of everyone who is not jet) 'nice shit'. I just think Lane's elitist attitude sucks. It looks bad on him. It's also doesn't hold up to much scrutiny (Nordstrom's is part of the mall; NM is part of the mall, oh noes!) This is very different than saying, 'People should only wear clothes from the Gap'... Coupled with his recent misogyny, etc., it's a bit much. I know I'm not the first to lament how, on a forum with several thousand viewers, WAYWT gets wheedled down to only a few hardened people. ^^This is part of the reason why.

SVB, While I like those glasses for work wear (power suits and ties), I don't love them for your more casual fits. Some gentler, and less structured glasses would be nicer for your causal fits. Also, a gentler, less structured hairstyle might be helpful here. And blazers. We all have anatomical weakpoints that should be glossed over so that an onlooker's eye can focus on our strengths. Cover up your (smaller) chest with blazers, jackets, other outerwear, etc. It will give you stronger proportions. Otherwise, great chinos.
