The only sneaker I've thought did anything for a fit was vans. At least they have some historical cache to them. Never been impressed by cp, nb or any of the ridiculous, velcro'd up Jane Fonda jazzercize holdovers so popular right now.
A little late to this discussion, but NB has as much cachet as Vans, if not more. When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s (ahem), NB's were only worn by the rich kids b/c they were so expensive vs. Nike/Adidas.
New Balances have always been cool, they're like an up market nike/adidas. Plus they must be one of the only big trainer companys to still make their products in the UK/USA.
I like this - the relaxed trousers make a nice change. I think it would look better with the middle button of the jacket buttoned instead, but that might be my boring MC side coming through
New Balances are stupid and you all put the newb in newbalance. (whaddup burndtjamb) Also the Soloist did not look good with the NB's they looked fucking stupid and ruined every look from the knee down.
