the plaid shirt would throw it off, you start at the top..ok outdoors inspired almost...then the boots tucked in pants with sloppy laces hanging out, looks urban inspired, doesn't mesh well together.

Well lack of better words, the top just looks like it wouldnt look right with the tucked in jeans to slouched boots. What is your opinion? I said that top..the one he has on looks to country for that look.

Eh. The look as a whole does little for me, I don't like the way those jeans fit and they would definitely not look good with a boot tuck. My comment was more a general "You can pair a plaid/flannel with a boot tuck nbd bra".

Agree on the non-boot tuck, disagree on the why. Those jeans have far too wide a hem for a successful boot tuck, imo. Not to mention, with high boots he's going to look really short

Add boots and cuffs. Subtract undershirt visibility. Start to fap with other hand, forearms don't match.

i've been searching for some boots for ages, not quite found the right pair yet. maybe i should have worn a bulkier shoe. also i dont think i'd do the boot tuck for the reasons stated by others, the hem would be too wide on the jeans, and i think it would probably make me look even shorter, and i'm only 5'10" so i'm not exactly tall to begin with. i like the idea of a boot tuck, but i dont see it pulled off well very often.

I completely agree, I just picked up another pair today.

I think that fit looks nice. Yeah the slim profile shoes is the only thing throwing it off for me.
I dislike boot tucks completely unless you are actually working on a farm, so no go there.
Also, saying "only 5'10" is going to make some others feel very short. You're not height challenged, just not a basketball star.

In this case I think it works, he seems to be going for that homeboy look but making it interesting with funky white sweats and awesome sneakers.
