You admitted that you were wrong and now you've just gone full circle again and justified the homophobic attitude by saying it 'doesn't exist', well done. It's nice that you are trying to stick up for the people of your town, but come on you've got to call a spade a spade. How else would you categorize your towns and your own disliking the presumably 'gay' characteristic of a pair of APCs or a beige messenger bag? If it isn't homophobic then what is it?

Maybe awkward is the wrong word, but I tend to think that anything smaller than a 2" cuff on jeans is unappealing

Why'd you pin it to the non-buttonholed side?

Ah is there a rule? I just thought there was already so much going on on that side with the pocket and the button hole.

I don't know if there's a rule, I'd just be bothered by punching a hole in the fabric when some sweatshop worker kindly did it for me on the other side

Actually I would've done the same as well. Not sure if there's a rule but a few weeks back Synthese posted a somewhat busy outfit with a blazer and rose pin on the pocket-square side, it looked too cluttered to me (though it was a nice interesting fit).
