kixself - like the hair and the direction/vibe, but cut back about 1/3 of this "outfit" and I think you'd be more on the mark.

This I don't get, in fact I seem to remember you eyeing a robert geller varsity some time ago (or something very similar at least). Unless you'd argue your outfits aren't 'fashion', but then why are we to make such a distinction? It's contradictory to the whole idea of having your own style that is a culmination of sorts, rather than a preset style a la the workwear aesthetic.

do not get me wrong, the robert geller jacket was a bomber, not a varsity per se. However, when i say "fashion" i mean goth ninja. to be honest if dude wore that with CDG or Junya or even Undercover it would fit. margiela, etc. I just feel with a brand with an aesthetic as severe as ricks this just doesn't fit. In this case for me it's not an issue of brand label or "fashion" but just more the actual aesthetic of the outfit. to me nothing in that says gym, everything is too clean and new and the pants are not gym wear they are loungewear imo.

While I would eradicate the tag from a pair of TB pants, the shirts aren't that bad imo

I must say, Baconzilla's fit strikes me as hodge-podgeish, mish-mashish... daresay, grab-bagish!

It didn't really say gym to me, I got a re-interpretation of Am Jock with that fit, and from that angle I think it's amazing.

Oversized terminators, drape pants, dark varsity

I loved it
