Or you could just, you know, not give a **** that random people think that you are a homosexual.

Uncontrol, this is not good advice.

If this person is not imagining it, if their parents genuinely think he is gay....and he is not...there is a serious problem. This varies culturally, but I lived in the US for nearly 8 years, and I know the typical American knows the difference between anorexic, Japanese-label wearing "dandy" and a gay guy. Everyone gets complimented on their clothing--on the plane back, we were crammed in those dreadful middle set seats and even with the uncomfortable shuffling and pushing to let people in, one gentleman said: "Excuse me, please...I need to get to that seat there...I like your turtleneck...you look good!"....
I've never heard of "putting effort into clothing" as a compliment or insult...
Tight clothing is disturbing. I have pointed this on a number of occasions.

I think CDHagg should have a heart-to-heart with his Dad (and Mum? ASAP. If he is not gay, he should explain his passion for clothes, especially if he is on the prowl. Everyone knows stylish girls like a well-dressed guy...if his father doesn't get that...well, are there signs his father is...? I seriously doubt any parent will tell him to "dress worse"...but there may be suggestions to avoid the tight, skinny, butt-crack exposing fits and other suggestions which only the people who know him can make. The accepted standard is Don't ask, Don't tell all over the world...but sometimes it's good to talk.

Agree with the others. You look like a tropical streetwear pimp.

"tropical streetwear pimp" is probably the best thing I've read on here in ages.

I normally really like your fits man, but that bomber just doesn't look good here.  Maybe in a different context, but with the sorta-baggy everything else (hoodie especially) it's not working.

i dont get what you mean, you think that the ma-1 should be worn with tighter stuff?? or baggier?? all the stuff i have on there other than the flannel and ma-1 fit pretty slim so idk wat to tell you

The pants are the problem. I can't remember them looking good with anything you've posted. They remind me too much of James Cagney pajamas and with the white tee here, the visual is that very much of a lounge outfit not fit for the outside world that you just happened to throw a jacket over.
Playing with pastels is a riskier path to travel down, much more so than wear a lot of black and charcoal. The problem in this instance, I think, is that the overall effort is too garish. That Ervell jacket is a LOUD piece and benefits from more subdued supporting items. Light jeans, as you mentioned, would work. But I don't really see how that leads to the assumption that seersucker pants would work, too. It's a different texture and color, both which kind of command attention on their own.

yup.
Lounge outfit is kinda what I was going for. I like the idea of pants just worn casually.
I also like the idea of tropical streetwear pimp.

But yes, it's too much.

The only time the pants work is just with a white shirt. I'm basically searching for more ways to wear them.

Your stuff is normally baggier/oversized and works, but here it doesn't look intentional. Was just my reaction, I'm probably wrong. Anyway, here's mine for the day -

Picked up another Cro'Jack jacket, this time the plainer Sonar rather than the Uffa. I'm liking their stuff at the moment - nice to find made in England stuff at a good price:

Cap: Barbour
Jacket: Cro'Jack
Shirt: EG
Cargos: H&M
Boots: RW IR
Scarf: Steve Wilson

I'm not sure whether the scarf is one piece too many? If anyone is interested in shuttle-loom cashmere or mohair scarves at a good price I recommend his work: http://stevewilsonweaving.com/SteveWilsonWeaving.htm

^gettoasty - I've enjoyed some of your recent fits but I confess I'm not convinced by baggy shorts and leggings...

same old ****:
Just picked up this Herschel 25L pack at a nearby TJ maxx for $25 though. Not really an expensive pack to begin with, but nice clean design (a little heritage and a little technical) and well made/featured for that price.
Thought about picking up a few (there were like 6 in the store) in case anyone on here was interested.

i lounge in this -- far more comfy then what hendrix considers as lounge (not that one is better than the other)

the shorts are a bit baggy, want to taper them. but this is pretty much what i wear on weekends. any ideas on some nice tech fabric slim shorts?? something like nike x undercover.

and tbh, i think the tight hoodie exaggerates the puffy shorts.

here is the same outfit worn with the premium down re: tween

time to head out again (minus the down, too hot for it today)
