It's this one:

I was very pleasantly surprised. I know their quality is wildly inconsistent, but this one looks nice, has a good shape, and it was made in Italy(?!). Really small, though. I'm barely 5'9, and the length on the Medium is pretty short on me.

Black shell derbys. I feel weird wearing them because I feel like I could sell them and get cooler stuff. Plus black ptbs always crease funny...

I have small feet(8.5) and feel like they look like clown shoes...
But at the same time they're cm and sw staples. I feel like I can do better though .

I feel you on that, but I've gotten a lot of wear out of my (admittedly cheap) black derbies over the years. if you don't already have a good black derby, shell sounds great to me. and they're supposed to be chunky. these boots are size 8.5 btw.

regarding creasing: I say embrace it. I'm not bothered by the creasing I have on either of my 2 pairs of shell shoes. I think all that worry is best left to the SF anxious microscopic inspector crew.

Yeah, if mine were boots, I'd def keep them. Then again, I'm selling my chelseas because they didn't fit me quite right, which sucks because they are perfectttt!!!!

If those had worked, I wouldn't have wanted the black ptbs.
