SLP is not your choice if you are looking for leather quality or construction. You have to love the design (which I don't, but ymmv.)

in that way, SLP reminds me of Golden Goose. The style is sorta cool. But you can get better versions of every single piece for less, from another brand.

Maybe Kiton?  super $$$ based mostly on designer reputation.

 

fwiw. I like Hedi's rocker style, but price/marketing hype is kinda whack. but w/e, something for everyone! In any case, keanswon looks great in toj.

I agree - I feel like some of the boots and jeans from Saint Laurent are really worth it for me because they're well made, fit me well, and I like the vibe. But I just can't bring myself to think about purchasing most of the tees, shirts, hoodies, etc., especially at retail. I would like one of the smoking jackets at some point though...

 

 

Anyway, didn't mean to turn waywt into a ToJ-SLP leather comparison thread lol carry on with all your awesome fits, everyone

they're by baldwin denim "the reed" in rinsed tobacco. got them off b&s super cheap and have been really happy with the fit.
