Not really. I wear a 15.5/16 shirt with 33-34 arms most of the time. I think I might have tried their slimmer fit, but I tried like 3-4 shirts. If I flexed at the elbow, the fabric would pinch up, i.e. it would probably rip there pretty fast. None of my other shirts do that.

I wear a 40R jacket with about 25 inch sleeves, 18.5 shoulders, and 21 ptp. Their jackets in a medium were too tight in the chest and the L's had sleeves down to the knuckles.

I just got a lands end jacket from work (with dept logo etc) and same story there. Small fits me pretty well but too tight on chest. I got a medium that's better on the chest but everything else (waist, sleeves, etc. are way too long).

I'm 5'10 and weigh about 160. I do lift though, so it could be that, but I'm still pretty small by lifting standards since I've had back surgery 2x and don't lift heavy anymore...

I don't have any crisp, white dress shirts that I really dig. Can anyone suggest a brand with a clean cut and slim (but not tooskinny) fit?

Thanks!

If you're wearing it under a sweater, you needn't spend too much time finding the perfect white shirt. Personally, I think a white collard shirt just on it's own is kind of boring.

i'll echo that.  don't quite like the look of the rather rugged looking stark under that very sleek SS jacket.  stacks would be better than stacks + cuffs on the jeans (i'm assuming you'll alter them and this is pre-doing anything).  definitely taper and hem those jeans a bit.

i think this jacket would also look great with a regis-like set up: tapered trousers, simple white shirt, maybe with a (lol wait for it.. hidden placket)

interesting. i guess i never saw the stark as particularly rugged looking. but its certainly not as minimalist the SS. good to think about.

yeah the pants are too long. uniqlo only offers one length as far as i can tell, and until the size down i ordered arrives, im not going to alter these. i tried it uncuffed, and im not sure if its just because they were just too long for it, or if it was due to the rather un-stiffness of the jeans (which i prefer), but they did not stack at all, just pooled into a sloppy mess.

whatever size i end up with, ill hem and leave an inch or so of break so they stack a little and dont look to MC-ey, but they cant handle too much extra length without looking bad i dont think. as to tapering, if i have to stick with these for waist/hip considerations, i will probably taper them, but im hoping the size down will fit and be slim enough to avoid that.

thats a cool idea. i dont know if i have any truly tapered trousers though. or a hidden placket shirt. i was going to try it over a plain solid tee shirt next time. i really need a hidden placket white shirt and some tapered charcoal SWD trousers.
