For varsity looks you can try checking out those looks from Japanese Americana online stores. Those that sell nanamica for example. Good luck!

I'll look into that. If you have a few examples of sites, I'd appreciate a PM. Thanks!

It's a mish mash of colors and aesthetics and not in a good way. And this is coming from the guy who wears red down vests and polka dog shirts (although in hind sight that fit was shit).

Essentially, it doesn't really matter if I dress like a ridiculous human being on days I have to be in scrubs all day and having to be at work at 6 30 doesn't help matters. I also realized this and posted it because I was slightly self aware of how over the top this was and felt silly criticizing a regular poster while hiding. I disagree about the varsity and shoes though. The jacket fits pretty damn well and blue suede strands are awesome.

But really, I'm from the planet Zargon and my space ship got lost when I fell into a wormhole and was transported to earth. Essentially, I'm from the future. You don't know it yet, but my style is much more advanced than yours. You'll all be dressing like me in 20,000 years. I'll say I told you so when it happens earthling.

This is the best thing I've ever read in this thread.

Haha, think so? I think a nice-looking guy so i take it as compliment :bigstar:  ... Thanx!

I'm a fan (no, wait... I'm a STAN) of Prince. Besides the music (my main influence alongside Bowie and MJ), My early interest in ..er... avant-garde, 'original' men clothing come from him. Dude has some crazy outfits sometimes!

I mean, ass-less pants?

whether or not it "matters" if you dress poorly is besides the point, you're posting an outfit in a thread on a fashion forum dedicated to critiquing outfits. i was trying to provide some (harsh) constructive criticism.

Nah, mikey's cool. I meta-know him irl. His fits here are way better than mine, though I dabble more in CM and SWD is a black box to me.

To be fair, he'd probably say the same damn thing in person. His temper's as short as he is.

just being honest. don't see much of a reason to be anything but.

The outfit is like a sentence constructed with words from four different languages. Varsity jacket = sportswear, flannel shirt = workwear, belt = HarrisonK-style prep, balmoral shoes = classic tailoring. Whatever you think about the individual pieces, they don't cohere. Replace the balmorals with sneakers and it will make a little more sense. Definitely untuck the flannel, or better yet, swap it for a tee. Biggest and easiest improvement would be to burn the belt immediately smile.gif Looking forward to seeing how your future fits progress.
