what's the topcoat, stitch?

the pants/shirt/tie combo is the classic "Italian Background" -- meant to go with basically anything you put over it. but I kinda have to agree w others. I think the jacket is too light, maybe if it had a darker color in the pattern to bring it closer to the tie or shoes. It's kinda floating away from the "backgound".

you are still a sharped dressed man :zztop:

top coat is a cashmere zegna number. i know that technically, borrelli > zegna (or so most here would say), but by the hand, this zegna topcoat cashmere actually feels better to me than the borrelli SC cashmere. not sure why that is revelant, but i was inclined to share that.

thanks for the feedback, the explanation, and the compliment. all very much appreciated as always.

SEE, NO DICK MOVES IN THIS POST!

in any case, maybe its an MC thing, but this is a pretty standard combo there for this type of jacket.

nah bro, im good with cross posting. SWD folks get MC much more than the other way around. this one just did not resonate here, and thats cool. they cant all be winners in everyones eyes.

Do it.

I liked it @in stitches particularly with the coat over it. I think the shirt is too bright but other than that I wouldn't change anything

Before I read any of the posts after the stitches fit, I immediately though "woah" when I saw the jacket - as in, everything looks like it's supposed to work well but something is a bit off. It's OK - it's still better than everyone else stitch sees today, probably.

@in stitches fit is great but i feel like the sport jacket pops a lot and it clashes with the coat when together
