Since you seem sincere I will not be my usual self here... I understand where you're coming from, dealing with the loss of loved ones is very difficult. However, there is no reason to be angry at Hirsch. We don't really know what's going on, but whatever the case may be expressing you anger isn't going to help anyone... except in the case where Hirsch is trolling, then whoever Hirsch is will be very, very happy with themselves that they managed to make you angry. OTOH, if Hirsch is genuine then your anger is only going to make her unhappy, and why would you want to be be responsible for making a terminally ill person less happy?

Just in general, I'm not sure everyone here understands that some people get off on making other people angry on the internet. I'm sure the responses to DP92 is a source of immense entertainment to whoever is trolling as him... Somewhere on some troll forum, a bunch of d-bags with no life are trying to see who can get stitchy to write them a poem.

I appreciate the non-trolling, I know it's an easy reaction, particularly to people like Hirsh.. The thing is, my aunt is terminally ill. She's been given less than 6 months to live and had her last course of chemo last week. A couple months ago, I was at a friends wedding and had my mother crying next to me because people were asking her about her sister. I was at her daughter's (my cousin's) birthday last weekend and had to deal with her crying on my shoulder at 5am. This shit hits close to home, and it's not the first time I've had to deal with loss, my father died when I was 7.

I don't think Hirsh is a troll, what I do think is she's a complete fucking moron who's abusing her position to try and get some sympathy from complete strangers online. She's ill, undeniably, and I'm very sorry for her, but she needs to shut the fuck up about it. If she needs people to talk to, there are professionals there for her, and her family, and people going through the same stuff she is. She doesn't need to drag everyone down to her bullshit.

Anyway, I'm sorry dudes for bringing the tone down. I'm going to shut the fuck up from now on.

i completely agree with you on the abusing. I have no idea why one would do that on a men's styleforum.

Speaking for myself Hirsch doesn't bother me posting about going to the doctors. If she did I would've blocked her weeks ago. I'd never want to buy her clothes but it's nice to see someone who has an established uniform in identical iterations and fitpics. It's like looking for Waldo, can you spot the difference or is it same shirt she wore two days ago? Someone chopped a doll over her fitpic and she joked about her hair with it. If everyone were able to laugh at themselves, and their clothing choices, then we wouldn't have nuclear meltdowns on this forum every week.

i too have an opinion about hirsch,

Repeating the same shirt from Monday. Picked this up as a “project” as it was a size too large but in a fabric that was no longer available otherwise. On Monday I’d given it a hot wash and a tumble dry and it was still fitting a bit large. So, I boiled it for a couple hours, then gave it another tumble dry.

@StanleyVanBuren I liked it better the first time, though I can imagine it wouldn't have looked as good without the sleeves rolled.
But good job on the DIY aspect

I think that's the only SVB fit I've seen that doesn't look like a Russian arms dealer's photoshoot

Interesting SVB. I never would have thought to boil a garment.

Tumble dryer yes, but not the stove smile.gif
