i think maybe wearing tight chest tees to show off the pecs has some role in looking taller/shorter. it is true that lean guys look a bit taller (can get that slinky/stretchy look). That's fine you like to keep a bit of extra muscle bulk but i think it's hard to emphasize that and emphasize not being shorter at the same time. Best of luck though. just send me a pm as not to shit this up anymore. would talk more if you'd like

good lord, how many pages does one person need in order to justify their fit?

My senior prom: I cheaped out, everything from H&M except the bow tie and shoes, which I've had for a while (idk where from), and the pocket square, which I made myself. I think the pants needed a slight hem. I have a 37 chest, so I went for the 38R, I think the fit was fairly good except the sleeves were a bit long.

^Shoulders look a bit wide, though you'll probably get more constructive feedback from MC.

^ the shoulder might be a bit wonky but it could just be the way you are standing. some tailoring would help a bit. But I suspect that tux cost less than a rental tux and (based on internet pix) looks no worse than a rental would, so you win.

I'm not kidding when I say it irritates me in a way that I know rationally it shouldn't.

I used to joke with reprehensible about his all-black wardrobe, but it was clear that he just wanted some higher-quality garments and wasn't interested in fancy-schmancy combinations or otherwise making the getting-dressed-in-the-morning routine any more complicated than he apparently though it should be. GN on the other hand is obviously aiming for some SF-approved steez, but is completely stunted by his undynamic color palette.

Well, this has a large element of truth to it, but lacks nuance! I like to dress in ways that I enjoy and find aesthetically pleasing, and I like the discussion and pictures on SF, but I'm not terribly interested in approval. It's cool if someone likes what I wear, and it's fine if they don't. Any thoughtful comments are appreciated, positive or negative.

When it comes down to it, I just don't like saturated colors on me, regardless of whether or not they'd be pleasing to others, you know?

I actually changed into this that night, thanks for the advice
And yeah, hard to pull off. .. def. something that's for night, harder to walk around in during the day

Shirt is dark gray, contrast is kinda messed up

Looks much better like this, as I expected man. Grey shirt (though I can't see it) probably does a lot for the outfit. How about doubling up on red? Maybe get one of those recent DD red pieces, like as a secondary tee/tank layer, or even huge red DD harem pants.... wear with the greyish DD frontzip boots

Haha. Not much point in feedback for this one. "Go do prom again, d00d!"

Christ, I wish I'd looked around for a cheap tux when I was going to prom. Looks much better than a rental. I'd hem the pants and maybe go down in the shoulder
