The more I see this red :-) T-shirt, the more it grows on me.

it's hard to comment on outfits like Synth's. obviously he could have worn a different jacket that could have upped the fit a bit, but he knows that as well and there's probably a reason why he wore the EG.

So Synth is an unquestionable style demigod? I like Synthese's fits, but I oppose this characterization (and I'm guessing he would, too)..

i wasn't implying all of synth's fits. i meant fits similar to what hes wearing. where it seems like warmth or practicality is a factor.

Interesting reaction. Yes, there are certainly other jackets I could have worn (like, every single one I own), but the EG shawl is very cozy, and I thought it gave the look a bit of cuddly bulk. Putting on a flight jacket is always an option, but as CK pointed out, it starts to feel a bit obvious. This way, it's kinda like a space captain hanging out in the woods, and is warm enough.

And seriously dudes, I always appreciate the compliments (thanks!), but of course I'm no style god. I'm just a guy who likes clothes and a lot of other stuff too.

god that makes me sound like an asshole. anyway, thanks!

Not much exciting going on here brands-wise, but this outfit has taken me pretty far. Cheap, looks good on my proportions. Sorry for crap pic.

J Crew Pocket T (two of them), UNIQLO pants, LL Bean Bluchers. Outerwear negligible.

Great fit, art.

Also, the critique I hate the most is usually along the lines of:

"That looks really nice/good/cool, but you should have worn X instead. It MIIIGHT be even better."

Barf.

Also, whenever personal preference is inserted as fact I want to punch my computer screen in the balls.
