I'm sorry, but how is his bigotry not over the top? Isachenko's transphobia and homophobia is making SF a hostile environment. Complacency on the part of moderators and hall monitors is a tacit endorsement.

please to link (or PM) me a post of his that had unprovoked OTT bigotry. i think i deleted one very not nice mom joke post of his, but that is all i recall.

if you meant the tranny comment, i thought he was talking about brads CT and was not sure what do.

im not complacent, i just try and operate under the guidelines i was given. but when i see something i know is past the line, i take care of it. hopefully, before many even see it.

I've reported every Isachenko post that I would consider offensive, I'm not going to dig through his post history and expose myself to that again.

And with regards to your request for unprovoked bigorty - is that somehow more offensive than provoked bigotry? When he called Brad a tranny, was Brad somehow asking for it?

Honestly it's taken so long for isachenko to be banned that I'm beginning to think it might be Fok's sockpuppet account, maybe he's conducting some sort of research with him???
i hope fok doesn't have that type of free time on his hands.

Are you kidding me? Brad's whole MO is to be as horrible to every new member as humanly possible, then hide behind our best PC intentions when inevitably, insult after insult, someone finally calls the man in tights and lipstick a transexual (which, by the way, is his custom title).

Being PC is easy. It's an easy stance. It's easy to care, or to appear to care, about people in the abstract, when it suits your interests. It's just as easy to look beyond this at someone's actual behavior -- the way they, you know, actually treat people, real people -- and see just what a load of crap that is.

Forget Isa. Remember Bortelli? He wasn't a troll. He came here posting fits, asking noob questions, seeking advice, hoping to participate. And like countless others, he suffered a zillion provocations from Brad, and like countless others, he was very restrained in his response. And like many others, he was driven away in short order by another reprehensible thumb-seeking post in which he was told he was basically useless as a human being.

Good times.

brad and i should get our own subforum where we get to be snarky and disgruntled
post #107276 of 117666
noob .... methinks you view askew

The forum prefers sinnedk to isachenko ffs.

I don't think I've ever seen brad post shit about a new member who was sincere in their posting

noob...Please don't defend bortelli or isachenko, they're not worth it haha
post #107279 of 117666
I have shat on sinnedk more than anyone here, and even I would rather have 2 sinnedks than 1 isachenko. Three may be pushing it though :P

I dislike isachenko's posts as much as everyone else, which is why I've had him blocked for the past few weeks. if everyone just stops responding to and quoting his threads, his presence is little more than a grey bar between posts. how difficult is that? as much as people are acting like victims of his trolling, you're complicit insofar as you continue to respond to the guy

quit bitching and calling out the hall monitors and get on with your day
