Might the coat be a size too big?

I think the red hat clashes too much and I like the scarf if a little big but probably go better with a green coat darker a couple shades.

Yeah I don't think you can wear this without bulking up layers below the jacket if that. The sleeve's at least two inches too long and the pit-to-pit as much or more.

Thanks Isachenko. The scarf is actually a medium brown color in person and the black leopard spots have a metallic lurex thread woven into it. This scarf feels like sex, I luv it so much.

Trying popping the collar and throwing on a button-down or wrapping a light scarf underneath.. lapels down with a t-shirt never looks too great, just kinda flat.

Quoting myself, I'm pretty sure that I'm wearing and your SS coat fit similarly - coats are meant to fit large so you can throw your biggest knit or even a down layer underneath if it's brutal outside. Throwing a scarf or popping the collar will definitely provide some balance

Excuse the wrinkles, just busted this out of storage since the temperature took a sudden drop today. What's the best way to get them out? Steam in the shower??

edit: Haha, oops, that isn't the correct picture:

lorcan and penanceroyaltea, awesome.

@spacepope - also awesome. where can i find an awesome wool snow cap like that, but preferably in gray, and maybe a little smaller so it fits flush on the top of my head, not loose up top? i dont think i can rock that look that you do.

full fit was crap today imo. frown.gif new tie from NMWA.

can anyone recommend a good overcoat for a suit, something that I can wear over a brooks brothers 1818 fitz. I want a more SW look than what brooks brothers offers.

Buys Brooks Brothers suit... doesn't want Brooks Brothers look.

Personally I love the BB long overcoat made from the Loro Piana storm system fabric. Warmest coat I own, fits comfortably with a jacket underneath, and in charcoal I don't think it's inconsistent w/ a SW look.
