Have you handled any of Zam's stuff? The quality is just as good, if not better, for about 2/3 the retail price of all those brands. Seeing the garments in person really changed my opinion of the brand

This is perfectly fine by me

I have items by Ann, Rick and Undercover, and wouldn't rule our buying something from Damir that i like.
We make belts, and i am wearing an MA+ belt now.................

I have clients who pair my stuff with rick, Ann or whoever.
I have clients that have stopped buying other designers and are supporting ZB..............
the world has enough people, with enough variety and variation of personal taste that we can all be in business and be successful at what we do....... thats why Ann, Rick Damir and myself are all in business and have our fans who appreciate each of us for our own unique offerings

we are working on getting up measurements this week, before the sales begin on Friday, it will hep at least so that people are properly informed in choosing sizes correctly.

running the web store is an incredible amount of work but we are doing our best. in the meantime if you ever need measurements for something,  you can just email the studio and Kymoya will take care of it for you

all those brands go for 50-70% each season, and I think they are a better deal, especially undercovers pants. I bought a pair of DNA jeans that seem to be the most popular item they sell. They were nice, but not nearly as nice as RO jeans that my friend owned which made me sell them and go with RO. I like gellers jeans slightly better also. As for the tee I have of his I got off ebay for $37 its worth it at that price.

not gonna get into a back and forth with you.........maybe our work simply doesn't fit your personal taste, and thats fine.
the comparisons you are making is absurd though. None of the brands you mentioned, rick, Ann undercover etc are artisanally made clothing. We are. and our "jeans" are not jeans.........they are for clients who want pants that wear like jeans, but not made from denim fabric or made in the traditional sense of jeans.

Our products are made here in Brooklyn at Zfactorie by a skilled team of Artisans and Tailors under my direct supervision, where every step of the clothing making process is properly thought out and done to my specifications. The people who buy ZB products appreciate that way of working, and simply buy not because they are looking for a "deal" or for designer fashions at the cheapest basement prices they can find.

They buy because they want to support a company working with respectable standards, paying their workers a good salary and so happen to make the kind of clothing they want to wear and can appreciate on an aesthetic level.

If those things dont mean anything to you, then maybe we are not the kind of company you want to support, and thats fine by me..........The world is a diverse place and one thing I firmly believe in is your right to your choices, your free speech and to spend your money on whatever clothing resonates with you for whatever reason

^ZB and his team is very helpful via email. Just seems to be bother when I have to ask for measurements every time redface.gif

Will check out the webstore again when measurements are up

I have liked all the ZB stuff I handled in person. Bummed I grew out of my old pair of trousers. I like RO myself, but don't they fall apart?
The old trousers I had from ZB were very well constructed. I couldn't imagine them ripping at the seams.

And as someone mentioned, MTO is offered and goes to show how accommodating the team is. Kudos

I think if I ever wear jeans or the likes again, I'll probably pickup a pair of ZB DNA etc.

the care and attention i got when i made my first order at Zam was unmatched. Actually my order was handled by Zam himself, who i got on the phone.

It's great to see that the designer is actually still involved with his customers and not living in his excentric bubble.

Einstine you are clearly trolling big time on that one.

I find damir stuff to be soooo bland. Undercover and Ann D has some pretty cool stuff though. I really want some Zam pants but i wouldn't pay 300+ as I wouldn't wear them enough to justify.

Edit: Goddam replied to late.

Edit2: How are RO jeans any better? I've owned a couple and quality is just ok. Nothing special.

DEAR ANY OTHER RAD DESIGNERS: WILL PHOTOGRAPH FOR CLUTHS

Another vote from me for ZB stuff. I haven't had my ZB stuff long, but the construction seems really solid. What's even better is the great customer service if you are lucky enough to live in the area. He has been very accommodating with my requests to make small changes/alterations to my stuff regardless of when and how I acquired them.

Can't wait till some DNAs are in my price range happy.gif
