I don't like what's underneath the jacket, maybe a yellow waffle knit cashmere crew.

Thanks. I'm just going to wear brown boots next time, but not with broguing. I hate broguing.

He just needs to move the camera back and like someone mentioned earlier, a better angle.

well his chin looks really round, and theres a difference of going to the gym to get "slim" and see no gains which is pointless as to someone that goes to the gym and bulks for mass to do it the right way and get a nice physique to look better in any clothes.

lol its scumbag because...? just because they (or you) are too lazy to LEARN how to strength train and have good nutrition habits to look and feel better instead of some instant gratification in the form of expensive clothing doesn't make me a scumbag, like i said before just because you go to the gym does not mean you know what you are doing. It was semi constructive criticism to abraxis and everyone else that feels the need to be included.

You guys thinking Abraxis is fat is making me laugh and angry at the same time. I mean if he is fat then what am I? He looks fine to me. Having a twinkish slim built doesn't always mean that you are healthy like what the fashion magazines have bombarded us all to believe. Yes I respect an individual who has the discipline to stuck with a regular routine of diet and exercise but in reality this is not always the case because there are also others who starve themselves and have eating disorders, smoke ciggies that causes cancers to keep themselves skeeny. I don't mean to be a Debbie downer but it's just the truth. So I think it's not good to be over paranoid about body image. As long as you are eating and healthy and not starving to look a certain image.

I believe the word is "portly."

Ah back to this. Shrug, grizzlybear... I think you and I get very different things out of clothes and I think you are making a lot of assumptions about what I do, how I do it and why I do it.

I like cool shit so I acquire cool shit and sometimes I wear it. I do this with other things too... like audio gear, cigars, pot smoking devices, cookware. Blah blah. I enjoy practicing the art of consumption.

There's no more gratification sought or garnered other than that smile.gif Anyway advice heard, but I've decided not to take it. Thanks anyway!

Some people don't prioritize fitness or improving their body image. Fine, whatever, that's their choice. But on a forum where people get off to an outfit's silhouette, it's not unreasonable to suggest someone wear clothes that compliment the body they do have. It's perfectly fine here to tell someone they have stumpy legs, which they have no control over, but if you point out that someone is overweight... well that's just offensive. I don't get it.

And abraxis, the above comment is irrespective of you or any comments made towards you earlier.

I think you know the answer to that already.

I see pant fits here with droopy-diaper crotches and like people here praise them because they are a certain Pier Poo Poo aesthetics but in actuality doesn't look good on the body. And then you see someone wearing pants with a relaxed fit from Banana Republic that looks average but comfortable to the wearer and it's ridiculed because of the brand and I think it's biased.

Just keep the boring body-building (and body-shaming) stuff off this thread.
