He's basically said it himself, after all this is Clothesforum and we're in the What Are You Owning Right Now thread, who cares about the people that actually put together outfits with some passion.

Also I'll gladly post a fit during the next week if that allows me to behave like an 'asshole'.

Yo Breezy what is bulletproof coffee like? I'm curious but Dave Asprey says a lot of questionable shit.
There's no need for a separate beer, cocktail, coffee whatever threads. There are already several that are exactly those one forum over in social life food and drink.

Btw we're doing a Christmas beer it forward in that forum if anybody is interested. PM me or reply to the thread.

Im also not a huge fan of that giant front pocket, but I know that some people are.

Also those pants seem to fit well in the thigh but need to be hemmed, or to have more of a taper past the knee.

This is the best advice on that fit. Getting those pants tapered from the knee to the ankle would make a world of difference.

Yeah I've read his posts but in the end it invalidates too much of what I love about clothing pieces I'm passionate about and as silly as it is I'm here first and foremost to get excited about clothes as items rather than as tools to level up my style smile.gif

The sense I came away with after reading his advice was the style of pants that suit my frame wouldnt really work with most of the tops I own. Though its been awhile so I'll refresh my memory smile.gif Thanks for the advice.

Yeah, if there's no saving my fits other then giving up on what I have/love then I'll stop inflicting my fits on y'all and soliciting feedback.

P.s. Yeah I'm stocky and vaguely muscular with short legs (29-30" inseam :/ 5'7.5" and 170-175ish #age depending on burritos consumed for the day).

Funny, my measurements are almost exactly the same— 30" inseam, 5'8.5", 179.

I'll be frank here: You look like a big black blob. The whole "point" of allblackerrthang is to foreground things like fit and silhouette, and the sad fact of life is that experimental, loosey-goosey here, ultra-tight there silhouettes are meant for the tall and slender. Without that silhouette locked in place, all-black just comes off as a crutch for the unimaginative, people unsure of their ability to match colors, and nerds wanting to look like Sith lords.

For stocky guys like you and I, narrow is the gate: Everything fitted, slim but not slender, etc.

Perhaps you should consider dressing more like tagut.

i agree with tagut except for where he says dress like him

i think its the same reason i never really got into kunks fits because they still sort didnt quite look right fit wise on him

lol8[1].gif I don't know what kind of hosiery your wife favors, but I've never seen anything like that in my wife's sock drawer.
