My plain white RRL T's are the best but I wouldn't pay retail for them, get them on eBay for $20 or so. I like the alt-apparel Perfect T. Kinda sheer but great drape, super soft and a perfect cut. AA tri blends are nice. I see where Teger is coming from in his advice - you don't need to start with $50+ T's. Just finding a nice basic that isn't a blocky oversized Beefy T is a good start. If you find you want to start expanding you're casual style, you can start exploring these repros and fashion T's.

SVB and Stitches have to be the most consistent fit posters on here.

When are we going to see you guys decked out in monochrome leather and zippers?

But, but monochrome.

Even if you exclude his timepieces, almost every outfit he wore would have cost in excess of $5k retail.

Indeed, and timepieces excluded, 99% of his outfits looked like shit.

Stitches is working on it, in time.

thanks, baron. all this tee talk has been very excellent. i am most appreciative. i think that as i am not looking to amass a giant collection, i wouldn't mind spending 50 or so to have 1 or 2 really nice tees i like. but i am definitely going to wait til i hit NYC and try some things on in person.

eBay is always cool, but it also depends on the return policy. i have had some difficulty with RRL sizing and cut, and knowing they have a super easy return process is a big help.

I'm late to the tee talk, but I gotta second (or third at this point) WvG tees. I consider a perfect fitting tee a grail of sorts and WvG comes pretty damn close to what I want. Trial and error is expensive when it comes to all these different brands. Number one thing for me is consistency. I hate buying a tee, loving it, and having it warp after a few wears. Or even worse a company who can't keep their sizing consistent between the same tee, in the same size *cough*everlane*cough*

I don't think we'll ever truly convert stitches to the dark side, but I think we'll eventually help him take his casual game to that nxt lvl

Lol... it feels like they fuck around with the fit every month and even then it's not always the same.
