I'd also suggest checking out Everlane tees. i think someone said theyre made in the same factory as James Perse, but costs a third of the price. I have several and they're still nice and soft after countless washes.
it's always worth mentioning how much of a wasted opportunity everlane is. great business model. not-so-great pattern makers. my tees are wearable and i dig the fabric, but the product team hasn't nailed the whole "aesthetics" thing quite yet
