Moleskin is just corduroy without the cords. I can see lint being an issue with darker colors, but that's true with a lot of fabrics. There's nothing uncomfortable about moleskin if the pants fit you and you're wearing them in the right weather. I have a pair from Epaulet and they're great.

as a general rule i do not condone days off of school, but it was a birthday request and all she wanted (besides new boots), was to spend a day with mom and get manicures and ice cream. how can you say no to that?!

and i will convey your kind birthday wishes, thanks!

Is the jacket 100% wool, IS?

I'd probably dress like that everyday sans tie. Nice stuff

laugh.gif i hope you are so blessed one day.

my neighbor once asked my wife why she takes pictures of me in the morning. my wife was unthrilled. she told me that she just kind of stammered and said, "my husband is really into his clothes. like a really into his clothing. a lot."

i said she should have told the woman its for work.

in other news, i saw these jeans below posted in an MC meetup thread, and i REALLY like them and want to buy them. but they are sold out. frown.gif

they are gustin jeans and were priced at $81. does anyone know of anything similar in even a remotely similar price point?

any help would be most appreciated, and could potentially lead to my first jeans purchase in years.

a dank!

re: moleskin trousers, they are amazing when its really cold. I have a dark green pair from a british maker (magee I think) that I wear all winter, dont need longjohns in the harshest cold, they feel like being wrapped up in blankets or something. I also just got a black pair as well (from a cheap british brand) to copy that Howell look, turned out really good.
