sorry - don't really get this. pieces fit well and are nice i'm sure, but combined they achieve a pretty average look/something i could put together at uniqlo or the gap for about 1/5 of the price. or maybe that's what you're going for.

For me, it's just so aggressively uncool that it's cool. Call me a hipster or whatever, but when I see 'plain/average' outfits with perfect little twists like the Raf sneakers it tickles my brain in the same way as well executed deadpan dry humour.

Loake

1. svb you gotta tame those colors! i think i like that blazer though. as you said, would look better with shorter shirt sleeves (or longer jacket sleeves)

2. i hope you noticed the enormous piece of chalk resting beside your right foot. and i hope that, once you finished the waywt, you picked it up and started the biggest game of hopscotch los angeles had ever seen.

That's nice svb. Shorter jacket than usual? Slimmer pants? Something about the proportions looks better to me.

cut on the jacket looks fantastic on you, SVB. also, i dont usually love patch pockets with flaps, but this one looks quite nice. kudos!

Moleskin is just corduroy without the cords. I can see lint being an issue with darker colors, but that's true with a lot of fabrics. There's nothing uncomfortable about moleskin if the pants fit you and you're wearing them in the right weather. I have a pair from Epaulet and they're great.

as a general rule i do not condone days off of school, but it was a birthday request and all she wanted (besides new boots), was to spend a day with mom and get manicures and ice cream. how can you say no to that?!

and i will convey your kind birthday wishes, thanks!
