There is just too much going on. IDK why everyone is so stuck on the brands.

I like the ZB jacket, pants and shoes a lot.

thank you, quirky I like that. Jeans are standard fit and very full at the legs so I wanted to keep it loosely stacked on the hem to give it a nonchalant look like what I was going for with the grandpa cardi worn with a vintage looking shirt.

when in doubt, default to condescension

it's just too cluttered. the individual pieces are nice, but it's just too much--like the shorts over the leggings in the last fit. kinda like you're trying to showcase every piece at once. oddly, I think simply taking down the hood would benefit that fit a lot.

crappy pics aren't helping show details either

no, the hood would look a lot worse if it were down because of the leather's high neck. it may not be your cup of tea, but it's a cohesive fit.

spacepope's MO has been post-apocalyptic hobowear for quite some time now. is this like the first spacepope fit you've seen?

on that note...

I was going to write about how, after your post, Spacepope will have to wear his hood up everywhere he goes, then I was going to segue into a joke about gated communities and skittles and iced tea but-- get this-- I won't. I do have some limits. You've been spared everyone.

Not true, i've seen many of SPs fits and i know what he goes for. I happen to not like some of the looks.

That said, I think SP has a lot of cool stuff and a ZB jacket i am quiet jealous of. However, i believe there is a better look that can be had out of those pieces. I commend him for posting these brave fits because many would not have the guts.

Also, shame on many of you for not giving an honest opinion, don't just like fits because a bunch of others did.

Spacepope's problem is not his post-apocalyptic hobo fits.

The post-apocalyptic hobo quality of his pics is

grouper:

  1. Stand up straight because it is killing your posture / back
  2. Take your hands out of your pockets as it is throwing off the balance in terms of giving a proper assessment on how the clothes fit you
  3. The boots are fine. The jeans look fine. I do not think you should go any slimmer. A straight cut may suit your proportions best (looking at the front profile)
  4. The whole outfit is really thrown off by the shirt because those colors say spring-summer to me, but everything else looks fall-winter ready
  5. The cardigan is also not very flattering, but it is hard to tell due to 1) your posture and 2) hands in pocket
  6. It seems like your entire presence is sort of giving a vibe like you are too cool to care. You either do or don't, up to you. If the former then you can take my comments and run with it, and try again tomorrow

7. God never remits guilt to anyone without, at the same time, making him humbly submissive to the priest, His representative.

8. The penitential canons apply only to men who are still alive, and, according to the canons themselves, none applies to the dead.

9. Accordingly, the Holy Spirit, acting in the person of the pope, manifests grace to us, by the fact that the papal regulations always cease to apply at death, or in any hard case.

10. It is a wrongful act, due to ignorance, when priests retain the canonical penalties on the dead in purgatory.

11. When canonical penalties were changed and made to apply to purgatory, surely it would seem that tares were sown while the bishops were asleep.

12. In former days, the canonical penalties were imposed, not after, but before absolution was pronounced; and were intended to be tests of true contrition.

13. Death puts an end to all the claims of the Church; even the dying are already dead to the canon laws, and are no longer bound by them.

14. Defective piety or love in a dying person is necessarily accompanied by great fear, which is greatest where the piety or love is least.

15. This fear or horror is sufficient in itself, whatever else might be said, to constitute the pain of purgatory, since it approaches very closely to the horror of despair.
