What throws off what you said Caveat is the 'awful' comment, however your explanation was much more logical and understandable.
Sorry for the harsh comment. I don't think the belt itself is awful. It's just an awful choice with a blazer. There's an expression we have in the southern US: "country gone to town." It describes someone from a rural area who steps into a refined setting without any of the sophistication necessary to fit in. The jeans with braided belt look under a blazer reminds me of this expression. No offense.
Also, I think the color matches the shoes almost too well. Maybe that's just me. Overall I just don't like that fit much at all tbh.
slimmer jeans would tie up this look. invest in something other than levis. also, idk if its just the angle or the way the jeans fall, but those side-zips look huge and bulbous, when in theory MMM should be slim and sleek.
Great, Regis. Last one was too - do it again with a gray blazer and profit!
Truf. I was walking through the Marais today and thought of you when I almost purchased some falafel while navigating crowds of the four kinds.
The amount of walking I've done in the last four days alone has convinced me that New Balance and Bathrobes is the Way of the Future.
le Marais as in le Marais in Paris ? You live there ?
thanks for the advice guys. the pic was taken at waist level so it might skew the proportions. also, both shirts are long and my arm is at my face so that's probably what makes the length weird because its normally pretty long for what it is. I guess I should have worn my black t000s. I wear a size 44 in these which is hard to work with considering I'm like a 29 waist and hardly 145 lbs
