Because using a reddit / internet trope is easier than coming up with original thoughts and ideas.  Most of us are guilty of this on some level.

Deoderant Talk -

Lafes
I somesimes mix in a third of Burts Bees Sage for a little scent, as Lafes has none.

yeah I switched to Weleda Sage at the beginning of the summer and it's been wonderful to me and my clothes.  No stink, and I definitely sweat less than I do when using an antiperspirant bar, as backwards as that sounds.  I don't forsee myself going back to normal deodorant any time soon.

you have to be OK with smelling a bit like a gin and tonic for the first few minutes though haha

ALSO!! I checked the price on Amazon and this is maybe one of the funniest (most likely) sincere reviews I've ever read because of how weird it is.

My doctor (holistic) recommended this deodorant. Since I also had a problem with heat rash this product stung quite a bit after application. The first few days I had to apply it more than once even though I shower daily. By the fifth day not only was my heat rash gone, I had no body order after a long, hot day. I now use it on other body parts that are subject to heat rash. No rash - no sting. I gave it four stars because of the price. I found the ingredients on the box it came in. It is basicly alcohol, water and essential oils. Since most other (less effective) deodorants I have tried rely on essential oils, the effective ingredient must be good old alcohol. It kills bacteria, the cause of both rash and odor. Since I use it liberally I decided to try making my own. I didn't want to use rubbing alcohol as it contains toxic ingredients but I found that unflavored vodka is pure alcohol and water. Voila! I had two empty Waleda bottles that hold 100ml. I bought a 200ml bottle of cheap vodka for a little over two dollars. This brand was 40% alcohol by volume (80 proof) which proved to be a good ratio. Water keeps the alcohol from evaporating so fast and it has more time to work. Essential oils are pleasant but optional. They are available at health food stores. Lemon is good (just a few drops) and Tea tree or Lavender work well and are inexpensive. Thanks for the idea and the nice spray bottles Waleda, but I now have an excellent product that costs less than two dollars a bottle - less than one fifth the cost. My doctor laughed when I told him that I now spray my body with vodka every morning.

So I bleached my jeans a bit too much, but I think I'm alright with 'em like this. If anyone knows the best method to spot-bleach jeans (in this case, just bleaching where lap and pocket fades had been more prominent prior to bleaching), lemme know.

nice fit, who. no idea where Boscago is, but if im there, we need to have a SF-joo-meetup.
Boscago is just my lame mashing-together of Boston and Chicago. I just finished school in Boston, now I'm back in the Chi-town 'burbs, so I should probably change that. shog[1].gif

And yeah, I'm down for meetups. smile.gif

I really do feel like the shoes are out of place. Unfortunately I don't really have a lot of options considering I'm still a dependant for a couple of months.
