If that was a pizza box in his hand he could be a deliveryman. This isn't "style" in any sense of the word. He spent a bunch of money to look like some dude who buys his clothes at Wal-Mart. Isn't there some threshold of visual interest required in order for something to be style? Seriously, what the hell?

If this was some newbie, no ******* way would this get a free pass.

Yeah, took a bit to realize that there's no making these 5507s work without my huge boots. 5010s for everything other than huge boots from now on for me.

I love you, Uncontrol, and that fit doesn't do much for me either, but sometimes you just gotta let it go. I think there's enough variety in WAYWT that most everyone can find something that appeals to them; just skip over the stuff that doesn't, or better yet, post more fits to balance it out. It's more constructive than bitching about every "boring" fit, imo.

I don't think there are any particular requirements, visual interest or otherwise. People on here often manage to look damned good without any particular eye-catching element to what they're wearing... in fact sometimes the mantra of this thread is looking good in as subtle and unremarkable a manner as possible. I'm saying pick out things to fix don't just be a dick. Fit didn't do much for me either (dealing with the visible undershirt and swapping the boots out would be a good start) but you're the only one patrolling this thread being catty and sarcastic and given the source... well you know what I'm saying.

+1.

tbh the fits dont bother me as much as the weirdass body types we get on SF, its like 80% crazy skinny, and then on the other end of the spectrum, kunk

very few model body types, but tons of model type clothing

Pretty much this.

He may look like a delivery guy, but then I could tell Uncontrol to stop procrastinating and get a sex change.

I don't because diversity is fine. Just saying "ewww" to someone is stupid. Give constructive reasons.

Uncontrol, you a weirdo, bro. Dunno what's bothering you so much there.

He looks fine clothes is class, casual, even got broken in jeans so you can't complain about the crispiness -- that bothersome sheen of new.

The fit is reasonable, everything fits well and the colours all work well together. Whether or not he looks 'normal' is beside the point, not everyone wants to look like something out of Devil May Cry and some are happy to simply look normal with a bit of extra polish that comes from having an interest in fashion. Scott.m comes to mind here, as he makes designer clothes look like everyday items. He always pays attention to fit, colours and proportions without changing his overall aesthetic from his usual streetwear self.

In short: You don't need to look like a supervillain, railroad worker or ivy league student to look good.

i can't give any constructive criticism when my feeling is entirely "start over".

i just don't see how this is style.

It was implied by 'he just looks normal', looking normal is OK.
