True. I've never considered this, my jeans pretty much always sit at the same place regardless of brand/rise. Never had a really high-waisted pair though.

- FYI as a HKG resident we get access to a lot of tailors. In the last year we have uncovered a few good tailors that understand the SF ethic (more MC than SW&D). Unfortunately a lot of SFers (MC & SW&D) started using & abusing the talent we found, causing a melt-down & hence the crusade to find new tailors.
- I think I may have just after watching for a while & QCing the finished products.
- apologies for the confusion as I forget a lot of SW&D do not venture into the MC section

I don't know what's going on with you posting helpful advice and making astute, non-oddball observations, but I've had about enough of it. More **** trolling and obscure cultural references, stat.

Today I got on a varsity jacket, blue oxford, gray chinos, and dirty bucks.

Is this about that one guy ripping off your jacket? (fabric, details and all)

Honestly, I don't think there is a hard up rule for sizing Dior. I'm a 32 in pretty much everything (occasionally a 31) and i have to go 32 in Dior. The waist of a 31 is fine, the thigh of a 31 is not.

There is a limiting point when it comes to sizing down for all of us, and it's not always the waist.

Is that raw's or washed?

Washed is TTS from what I've seen, raw is vanity sized + stretch.

eh.gif

I wear a 29 and always wore 28 or 29 in DH, I think I prefer 29. I have two pairs left: -light denim grey ones (28) -luster waxed black ones (29) My APCs are 28 (old Tunisian factory not the azn one) Of course all of those are old to very old so I remember my friend getting some 27 or 28 raws 2-3 yrs ago and finding them too lose. My old 29 raws were tighter (I think). I wear a 44 or 46 in say Poell, a 0 in TB etc.

thanks fuuma I can't imagine having to think so much about sizing jeans, it must be frustrating. My DH were from s/s07 and I just walked into the store and bought the smallest size which made things a bit less frustrating. This is how I size everything basically. (Technically my high school sweetheart bought them which makes them special to me) --------------------- the first pic with my leather was right out the mailing box so it was a bit stuff, hence the shoulders bunching up a bit. Since then it's settled so hopefully it still doesn't look too big.

Jacket looks great, kelvin. It's a perfect fit on you. Not sure if you've finally gotten a haircut, but the bigger hair looks good on you
