And waddaya know, styleforum was right!

At least until my Unlucky belt comes, and with the KMW 1980s and this particular length of shirt, I will continue to untuck. Cheers guys.

hendrix

- my advice

- get some pants with a higher rise - if you like that cut and colour ok - then tuck that shirt in - get a belt - a jean belt for you not a dress belt - wide-ish and brown. You need a belt to mark things off and cut across with some formal lines - or you could get a canvas webbing belt would work in a tan - Then lose the sneakers - get something brown - casual and clunky and cheap if you like - even brown sneakers or canvas or boots and then get yourself a cheap ok jacket - or even another shirt to sling over what you have so something is hanging out - youse young guys seem to like things hanging out - well make it work - tucking in with the low rise is a wrong game - hell - I reckon the whole hanging out shirt thing is to compensate for the crappy look with low rise pants - length and all the rest seem ok - you'll look great with another shirt or light unstructured jacket hanging loose and out over that one tucked into higher rise pants with brown shoes or soft look boots. whatever you do don't go all iGent tailored and stitched up - you'll lose it

good luck

if those are the 1980 cut kmw chino (I believe Hendrix said that earlier), they are medium rise, 10 inches or so. I tuck 9.5" rise jeans, works fine. I don't have them jacked up as high as Hendrix though.

Tucking 12"+ high rise jeans is dad jean style.

hendrix might be in a sitch where his shirts aren't quite long enough to tuck into his jeans if he wears them much lower

And therein lies the problem - as long as low rise hipsters are seen as the antidote to dad's jeans then all is doomed.

Sure jeans up under your armpits is a bad look (bad as in wrong not bad as in fully sick) but the wrong choice with hipsters makes you look like a 2 year old who has pooped their pants at kinda or a deformed long body short legged droob.

Sure you can do the hipster thing (and here I mean trews on the hips not hip as in hepcat) but you must be careful or you'll look like every other neighbourhood idiot who has their mother do their washing and ironing.

If you are doing hipsters then go the whole hog - wear a white belt, and rock dog boots or DBs (or Brothel Sneakers as we used to call them) and pegged lower legs and something interesting to balance it at the top.

But don't confuse hipsters with grownups trousers.

Just went through all 102 pages in boredom. It took alot less time than I was expecting; lots of **** in this thread. I present my favorite *streetwear* pictures of the last 100 pages.
