Alright, so real talk, I agree that MC guys have given me the impression of more patterns/colors/obsession over quality without regard to fit or look than I would do if interpreting my own MC-type wardrobe.. what aeglus was basically saying about MC fits not being conservative or good for a workplace, in other words.
PG does his MC and weekend casual interpreted via MC'ish pieces, and obviously he does them well; I probably wouldn't do as much color or pattern in my M-F wardrobe as he does, I'd be monotone and really conservative about pattern/texture, actually. I say this with a 2 week fu manchu on my face and hair down to my collar bone, lol.

Moo, I see your fits all the time and I do honestly wonder if you were either lost on the forums, or if you were just so old that your elderly MC-type fits were really your idea of 'streetwear'... I saw the shorts and sneakers thing recently and that's probably the most youthful outfit you've worn to date, all because of the shoes. The english houndstooth (was it?) jacket you had just looked plain old. I wouldn't make my grandfather wear that. Dude, if you really are 27 (and I'm turning 29 this year) I am seriously, honestly in shock. Your work shoes aren't bad, some of your clothes aren't bad, but you gotta let go of the old guy pieces or at least tuck them away for 30 more years. They'll be there for you when you really need them, and they'll still look old. :p

I highly dislike "tasteful Men's Clothing" type stuff.

A bit of flamboyant vulgarity is much appreciated. I'm also partial to a very severe look as well--like something a Swiss lawyer in the '60s might have worn.

He doesn't post much now except under his alter-ego but incontro did suiting fit for work perfectly. Loved the small details in his fits. His only flaw was wearing creased, ironed jeans sometimes.
